  • Canadian sunshine heads to California

    Anaheim will need to brace itself for a Canadian invasion on December 11. Specifically, 80 children from all over the lower Mainland will converge on the Vancouver International Airport and then head for sunny California. These children, all of whom are dealing with life-threatening illnesses or profound physical disabilities, are bound for Disneyland thanks to DreamLift - a program sponsored by Canadas Sunshine Foundation.

  • Three new screamers at Knotts in 2013

    Knotts Berry Farm, one of Californias oldest amusement parks, is adding three new rides for thrill seekers in 2013. The new rides will add to the total of 40 that Knotts offers for children, tweens, and adults.

  • Targus purchases Sena Cases

    Targus, a maker of quality laptop cases and other products, recently purchased Sena Cases, another giant in the case manufacturing industry. When Targus, a 30-year-old company based in Anaheim, decided to expand its brand into the high-end phone case realm, it went with an established brand instead of starting from scratch. While Targus is best known for its tablet and laptop cases, Sena Cases also a California company specializes in premium quality phone cases. Most recently, Sena Cases produced a new line of folio, wallet and journal-style cases designed for the iPad mini.
